We understand that being a great brand means much more than just providing great products: it means providing great opportunities for growth to others.

Here are just a few examples of the way in which we provide such opportunities to local businesses, communities and cultural hubs.

Viola Arena & Cardiff Devils

Formerly Ice Arena Wales, the venue officially changed its name to Viola Arena on 29 November 2018, following a new, five-year naming rights deal.

The arena – dubbed Your New Home for Entertainment – comprises two ice rinks and seating for 3,088 spectators, seeing over 250,000 visitors annually. It plays host to a variety of professional sporting, music, business function and public events.

Having already travelled to ice rinks across the world to support his daughter’s passion for synchronised skating, Viola Money Chairman and CEO, Christopher Hamilton, already had a close affinity to the arena. Coupled with Viola Money’s principles of community presence in South Wales, renaming the arena provided the perfect fit for Hamilton.

Changing the name from Ice Arena Wales to Viola Arena was a milestone in the arena’s diversification and facility enhancement. Being a local company, we are growing our presence in the Welsh capital by naming a landmark that is Ice Arena Wales to Viola Arena. We have also become official sponsor of the Cardiff Devils, the defending playoff champions and one of the top teams in UK ice hockey over the last number of years. This partnership ties in perfectly with our existing Viola Arena sponsorship and the two naturally go hand in hand..- Christopher Hamilton, Chairman and CEO @ Viola Money

The Scarlets

As an ambitious, community-driven, proud Welsh brand, we wanted our first commercial partner to reflect exactly the same values.

And that’s why we chose iconic Welsh rugby team, the Scarlets.

As well as working alongside the club in promoting commercial and community activity within the area, our logo also appeared on the side of both the clubs home and away shorts.

We are delighted to welcome Viola on board as one of our kit sponsors. With their head office in South Wales they’ve moved their ambitious start-up from humble beginnings to a global business in a very short space of time. Their innovative approach is something that really excites us and we’re really looking forward to working closely over the coming months and seasons. – Garan Evans, Key Account Manager Scarlets

Swansea City AFC

The Swans are our first venture into the realm of football sponsorship and as back of shorts and hospitality lounge partner we are very much looking forward to the journey ahead. We hope to grow our reputation as Financial innovators within the Welsh sporting community. This partnership provides us an opportunity to engage with the fans to deliver a tailored offering exclusively to the dedicated Swans fans. This prospect excites us greatly and we will be unveiling our plans over the coming weeks.

“It adds so much weight to our corporate offering and community representation, the Football Club remains the key showcase for the Swansea Business Community and it’s vital to rely on local support.” – Trevor Birch, Chairman
